We had the opportunity to provide stenography services in an international commercial arbitration hearing, which was held in person at the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce between August 25 and 28, 2025. During those days, we worked from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in an environment that challenged us to deliver our best in accuracy, confidentiality, and technical support.
Arbitrators from Mexico and Colombia participated in the hearing, so it was necessary to enable a stable connection through the Webex platform. Thanks to this technological integration, we were able to ensure that everyone could follow the session in real time, with fluid and secure communication, regardless of distance.
Our main task was real-time transcription. With the coordinated work of two stenographers with extensive experience in this type of service, we recorded every word with absolute fidelity, ensuring that arbitrators and parties would always have a reliable resource.
At the end of each day, we delivered a preliminary version of the transcribed text, which was key to the progress of the process. Then, during the following week, we reviewed and adjusted the material in detail, incorporating precise time stamping and ensuring consistency in every part of the record. This additional effort enabled the final minutes to possess the necessary strength to serve as documentary support for the arbitration.
Throughout the event, we were also present with permanent technical support, instantly resolving any situation related to the connection, transmission, or equipment. This constant support was essential for the hearing to run smoothly and in a professional environment.
With this experience, we reaffirm the commitment of the entire human and technical team at ATmedios: to offer reliable and accessible communication solutions tailored to international contexts, thereby consolidating ourselves as a trusted ally of our clients in high-stakes arbitration processes.
