Recently, we had the privilege of providing our simultaneous transcription service for an arbitration case in Ecuador.
During the development of the arbitration hearings, we connected remotely from Colombia via the Zoom platform. We transcribed more than 60 hours of proceedings in real-time, capturing the entire process of questioning experts from both parties.
One of the strengths of our service was the daily sending of transcripts at the end of each day, allowing legal teams to have the information processed, reviewable, and editable for immediate analysis. This efficient workflow streamlines the preparation of the parties and ensures a more effective use of time during hearings.
Additionally, our transcriptions included timecodes, which enable us to link each segment of the text to the exact moment it occurred within the recording. This feature is handy for quickly locating key statements, reviewing specific passages in the interrogation, or preparing presentations and writings more accurately. The traceability provided by this tool reinforces the evidentiary and strategic value of the transcription in the refereeing context.
Thanks to our team of stenographers and technicians, along with our specialized technological tools, we maintain a stable, secure, and high-quality connection, providing continuous support throughout the process. The remote modality was not an obstacle, but an opportunity to demonstrate how remote transcription for international arbitration can be just as effective as face-to-face transcription.
