"El Mordisco de la Medianoche" is a literary work by the author Francisco Leal. The story follows the life of Mile, an indigenous Wayúu girl who lives with her family in La Guajira, Colombia. Unwittingly discovering a crime, they are forced to flee to the big city, where they will live as displaced persons from the violence.
