As service providers for the MICE sector, we attended the International Meeting and Incentive Travel Tourism Fair for Latin America and the Caribbean – FIEXPO. On June 14, 15, and 16 in Panama City, we enjoyed conferences and networking spaces where we met different exhibitors and hosted buyers and visitors.
On our way through this city, we visited the Sheraton Hotel, where Fiexpo Connecting Minds was held. Its main themes were: «business, sustainability, inclusion, diversity, and technology. » Each intervention featured the participation of academic experts who shared their knowledge, points of view, and perspectives on how to move forward after the events that affected the sector in recent years.
Also, we met with companies with the highest reputation in holding events at the Panama Convention Center, where we continued to position our brand in around 20 Latin American countries, making more than 100 new contacts, meeting with already known companies, and with some clients. In the interaction with this public, we offered our services of simultaneous interpretation, CART or live subtitling, and interpretation in international sign language. We emphasized that today more than ever, it's important to have other alternatives, such as remote services, to promote sustainable and accessible events from anywhere in the world and provide a more profitable option—key factors for the growth of the sector.
In short, the balance is positive because our region has created different international alliances to promote and enhance tourism.
