On February 11th, the "first meeting of the 2021 Salesforce Trailblazers Latin American cycle was held - Connecting Dreams to the Future, which we started last year", organized by Salesforce. This live event held through YouTube was attended by the President of Colombia, Iván Duque, who addressed topics related to the sustainable and inclusive development of the region , education and the role that technology plays in these areas.
In this virtual meeting the attendees were able to enjoy the Interpretation in Colombian Sign Language and the Simultaneous Interpretation from Spanish to English:
The challenge was to ensure a stable connection remotely to live up to an international event that represented the position of the Government of Colombia in front of other Latin American countries. Interpreters were working from home, which involved relying on internet connections with limited bandwidths and possible signal delays.
Thanks to BePlay technology the event was accessible to deaf people and English speakers who do not master Spanish and participants were given interpretation services with excellent quality and without delay.
