The film "La Estrategia del Caracol" (Synopsis) directed and produced by Sergio Cabrera, is one of the most representative films of Colombia´s film industry. During this 30th edition of the Bogota Film Festival, the Senate of the Republic of Colombia will offer a special recognition for this film´s 20 year anniversary , reached in 2013.
The Bogota Film Festival decided to include this film among the 198 films included on its program, and selected it for the second edition of "Films for the Blind", a program in which audio description is included on the film's audio. This support system, produced and sponsored by ATmedios, consists in the narrating of the main visual elements of the film, which are an essential part of the film's understanding and that allow the visual impaired to access the movies.
For the ATmedios production team, working on the audio description of this film has been an important experience because enriching the film without loosing the humor and the traits present in the movie, was a challenging experience.

This is an opportunity for the blind and the visual impaired to be a part of Colombia's cinema audience.
